Happy Birthday, Beckett! My spring baby. You are a thoughtful, loving big brother who always tries hard to help me. You keep your brothers laughing all the time. In fact, you know what makes Crosby giggle and how that's different than what Shaw likes. You're an excellent student, always minding your teachers and following the rules. Friends like you because you are friendly to everyone, no matter what. You like to be outside playing sports with Daddy or inside cooking with me or reading books (in or out). You are my sweet little love!
First we celebrated ON his birthday.
Birthday morning just before school.
It was a music-themed birthday. This harmonica has been a huge hit -- even Shaw and Crosby try to play it.
Beckett asked for a baseball cake.
Then we celebrated in his classroom.
On Friday, we all went to school to Beckett's birthday circle. He got to sit in the middle of the class while the students went around telling him what they wished for his birthday. Almost every child said that Beckett is such a good friend. That made us so proud!
Crosby made his way into the birthday circle, which B loved.

Next, we had a backyard baseball birthday party.

We ate lunch...
And played ball ...
We let the kids watch a few minutes of the game ...
Went back outside for popcicles...
And more games. This time it was soaker ball! Even the adults got wet.
And the little boys were well taken care of.
