Shaw and Crosby started the morning with their first painting project. I got out the baby pool to contain them, put down paper, and let the painting begin! Crosby loved it. He understood that the paint was mainly for the paper and he liked all the colors. Shaw liked painting his arms, legs, toes, and Crosby. He loved dipping and wanted to dip his paint brush over and over again. This was nearly an hour-long project so it may be in the regular rotation now!
Finger and brush painting on the front porch.
As soon as we picked up Beckett from his first day of summer camp, the rained poured down. We took refuge at the bookstore. The Little Boys played at the train table while B read the rest of the chapter books he doesn't yet own -- all 4 of them.
When we arrived home the rain had left a lovely puddle right on our walkway.
Shaw was tempted by this puddle. Within minutes he was head to toe in wet dirt.
Three boys. One puddle. Pure bliss.
